House Clearance

After her father’s death in 2009, Fay cleared the family home and found personal belongings that were charged with memories and thoughts. She began to draw these objects and the interior of the house where she had been brought up. She also drew portraits of her parents, keen to remember her mother who had died in 1964 when Fay was seven.
